Simple Thanksgiving Centerpieces from Matthew Mead

Indeed, Thanksgiving is as simple as preparing a hearty meal to share with loved ones and setting a beautiful table at which to gather 'round and count those blessings. Decorations can be as simple as offerings from nature -- like fat pumpkins and gourds, fresh flowers, colorful leaves, and fruit all stacked on platters. Candles, pressed napkins, and handmade napkin rings and placecards add up to a gorgeous backdrop for the Thanksgiving turkey and all its glory.

In the days leading up to the holiday, allow us to show you how to create a beautiful Thanksgiving table using nature's bounty and oh-so-simple projects, like the centerpiece shown above.
