Now, serendipitously, I'd cracked the dream waffle code and realised that it wasn't Belgian waffles I'd been hankering after all these years, but waffled quick bread. Oh, I could laugh. No.... I could cry. I'd made and hated countless batches of the real McCoy, (or as real as any Belgian delight called McCoy could be, when made by a Singaporean), all the while lusting after a fake out. Ever wondered why you keep seeing biscuits and scones here, but not waffles? Wonder no more.
