So Simple Three Ingredient Homemade Chocolate Peanut Butter

Let me start by saying....this stuff is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Homemade chocolate peanut butter is so good and with the addition of honey roasted peanuts it is sweet, chocolaty and salty all at once. How could you not love that? Spread it on toast, waffles, and pancakes. Use it as a dip for pretzels or spread it between two of your favorite cookies for a kicked up sweet treat. Peanut butter creaminess in less than 15 minutes...mmmmm!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 cups salted honey roasted peanuts*
2 tablespoons Dutch process / extra dark cocoa powder

Directions:

Using your food processor, process the peanuts until creamy. This may take some time, be patient. At first there'll be ground peanuts, and then it'll start to come together in a ball, then it'll actually be a ball, and then the ball will break down and be super creamy.

Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl at half power, in 30 second increments, stirring after each 30 seconds. Set this aside while you prepare the peanut butter.

Add the cocoa powder. Make small batches at a time because it will get very thick if refrigerated. Store at room temperature so that it is spreadable and creamy. Enjoy!

*For those with peanut allergies, you can modify this recipe and use other types pf nuts (almonds, cashews, hazel nuts, sunflower seeds). The flavor will vary, but it is still delicious!
